It was a 3-star hotel in every way. The property was conveniently located and the staff were helpful. There's Parade with nice shots easy walk to the venue.
Beds were not very comfortable.
The resort was very clean and good sized. We loved comfy beds in our room. It had lots of meals for breakfast, including yoghourt, coffee, cereal and tea.
Good new shower room. Offered kippers or smoked hadock for breakfast as well as normal full English
Our room was very very hot - must have been above a kitchen? Also there was a noisy extractor from somewhere right outside the window.
cleanliness, staff pleasent, choose of breakfast marvelous. We had a very enjoyable stay
clean and comfortable. food good but evening dinner very expensive
on arrival given key to double room then kept waiting 10mins then given family room.did they ever book us a twin room as requested.seems its first come first served than a proper booking system. no apology or explanation was given.would not have confidence to book with them again
We have stayed at the Windsor many times and our last visit I requested three rooms specificaly not at the back above the kitchens and all our three rooms were above kitchen, noise of freezers going off and on. not good
Located within walking distance of the beach
Despite requesting a room at the back of the hotel I was situated right at the front, the noise from the stag & hen parties in the bars opposite was horrendous
Conveniently placed. Good package price to compete with local budget hotels. Best hotel in the area.
The bar food could do with a little better preparation. I had a chicken panini and all that came was chicken and a panini. Just a little side salad would have made the food look better.
Spacious clean room, good breakfast, tea/coffee making facilities in room
Staff efficient rather than friendly and welcoming. Night receptionist - grumpy, did not speak, no eye contact - gave the impression that he did not want to be there.
We found the Windsor Hotel very comfortable, warm, welcoming, good location for shops and beach and night life, had secure parking.Staff very friendly and helpful, food lovely.Would visit again and recomend to others.
The staff on reception and in the bar were excellent & the hotel was clean
I did enjoy my stay at the windsor, however it seemed very busy at breakfast & they seemed to me to be under staffed in the restaurant,by the time the breakfast arrived it was almost cold and there seemed to be lots of food left on plates as a result of this.
Very nice hotel, nice secure car park, Great reataurant, Nice spacious rooms, Lovely bathroom.
The rooms were large and comfortable, the plasma TV was good, refurbished bathroom was superb with separate shower cubicle
Needs freeview, only had Sky News ans Sport in addition to the normal 6 channels. Restaurant food had very little choice and too rich for a small hotel.
The staff at this Hotel were very friendly and approachable, but the Hotel was far too noisy. Our room was above the main entrance and every few seconds the glass doors were banging, which shook our room and kept us awake. We did not get any sleep whatsoever. There was also four steps outside our room and all the drunks kept falling down them and banging into our hotel room door. The Hotel itself was clean, but I certainly would not visit it again.
location for business trip very good however car parking is a potential down-side. there is also potential for vandalism of cars parked on street.
whilst this hotel does not have a night-club, noise from nearby clubs (until after midnight) is disturbing.
